Gordon Scott has worked in the Fashion, Art, & Design Industries for 40 years: from 1983, as a High School kid working the floor of Tarny’s Men’s Store in Westerly, Rhode Island to New York City and the Polo/Ralph Lauren Company in 1988 and at other notables (Alfred Dunhill, Abercrombie & Fitch, Giorgio Armani, Chaiken, Chaps, Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica, The Gap, Banana Republic, Ray-Ban, etc., etc.) throughout the 90’s and 00’s.
From 2003-06; a return to New England and the opening of Ye Olde Schoole Shoppe (a boutique & skate shop) in Mystic, Connecticut was the main focus. In 2008 and ‘09, a second venture into brick and mortar came about when Scott assisted in the building and operating of MUSE (a shoe retailer & gallery) in nearby New London.
Since, 2013 with a relocation to Madison, WI to be near his daughter, Scott has worked as a stylist for Shopbop, LLC in their photo studio.
The vast Creative Services that Scott has offered over the years range from apparel & accessory styling, set design, art direction, and graphic design.
Last, but certainly not least, Gordon Scott the fine artist has exhibited his work from NYC to San Francisco to Madison, Wisconsin and has pieces in private collections world wide.
